P&M Aircraft Company started in 1984 when retired TWA captain, Michael Potter, was commissioned to fly over 20 Convairs into Mojave Airport for long-term storage.

Since then, P&M has prepped aircraft for storage, dismantled jets for parts/recycling and has been contracted by government agencies for training purposes.

Many entertainment companies have come to Mojave Airport and have used P&M for consultation, movie props and filming locations.

Famous producer/directors such as Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood and Kiefer Sutherland have utilized P&M's expert services. The Academy Award-winning film "Speed" used P&M to provide a cargo jet for their ending explosion scene and Fox's Emmy-winning show "24" has filmed at several locations on the P&M lot.
